DiscordSRV

Bridges Minecraft chat and Discord for the Laugh School community.

Install

1. Install DiscordSRV-Build-1.30.5.jar
2. Start once to generate config
3. Create a Discord bot, invite it, paste the bot token in the private config (never commit tokens)
4. Set channel IDs for global chat / staff / console as needed

Config walkthrough

• Config.yml — bot token, channels, game↔Discord formatting
• messages.yml — join/quit/achievement templates
• Optional account linking if you use Discord roles ↔ LuckPerms

Ops

• After regenerating a bot token, restart DiscordSRV
• Rate limits: avoid flooding Discord with high-frequency console relays on busy days
